World Sight Day is one of the most important days on the global eye health calendar, reminding us all of the value of our vision and the importance of protecting it. This year, World Sight Day falls on 9th October 2025, under the global theme “#LoveYourEyes – Putting People at the Heart of Eye Health.”
At EyeCare, we have always celebrated World Sight Day in a colorful, engaging, and impactful way, bringing people together to raise awareness and inspire action. This year will be no different. Alongside our public event, we are excited to launch a unique initiative that gives young Maldivians the chance to shine — the World Sight Day 2025 Student Art Competition.
