In a remarkable demonstration of corporate social responsibility (CSR), the dedicated professionals at EyeCare Hospital have launched an eye camp initiative that spans across all islands in the Kaafu Atoll. This camp is aimed at heightening awareness about the importance of maintaining optimal eye health while simultaneously offering essential eye care services to residents of all age groups.

The first camp was conducted in Gulhi, Guraidhoo and Maafushi, in partnership with local health centers. The health care facilities joined forces with the camp team, making eye care services accessible to the communities.

The primary goal of this initiative is to encourage community members to prioritize their eye health and understand the importance of regular eye check-ups. The medical professionals and assistants not only conduct eye examinations but also engage in educating the residents about early detection and treatment of eye-related issues.

In the days to come, this initiative will continue to expand its reach to include the entire spectrum of Kaafu Atoll islands, encompassing Kaashidhoo, Gaafaru, Dhiffushi, Thulusdhoo, Himmafushi, and Huraa. In doing so, EyeCare reaffirms its commitment to bringing eye care services to communities far and wide.

The endeavor not only exemplifies the power of community collaboration but also underscores the transformative impact that corporate social responsibility can have in enriching the lives of the people it touches. It aims to provide not only clearer vision but also a clearer path to a healthier future for the island residents and beyond, embodying the values of corporate social responsibility.
